Cookie Policy

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. Cookies are widely used to make websites work, work more efficiently, and to provide information to the website's owner. "Cookies" in this policy also covers similar technologies, such as data stored in your browser's local storage.

2.1 Strictly necessary cookies. These are cookies required for a website to function at all — for example, remembering that you accepted a cookie banner. This website does not currently set any, because none of its current features require one: the booking form works using ordinary page state and the address bar, not cookies.

2.2 Analytics cookies. Not currently in use. This website can use Google Analytics, but the code that loads it does nothing unless we have deliberately switched it on, and it is not switched on at the time of writing. When it is enabled, it will start with every cookie category denied by default (a setting called Consent Mode), and will not begin setting an analytics cookie or storing an identifier until you have given consent through a cookie banner that does not yet exist on the site.

2.3 Advertising cookies. Not in use. We do not currently run advertising campaigns that use cookies to track you across websites.

Some features of this website, when active, rely on third-party services that may set their own cookies, outside our direct control:

“Stripe”

if you pay for a booking online, Stripe's payment form may set cookies to help detect fraudulent card use, in line with Stripe's own cookie policy.

“WhatsApp”

if you message us through WhatsApp, that conversation happens on WhatsApp's own platform (operated by Meta), governed by WhatsApp's own cookie and privacy policies, not ours.

“Google Maps”

if we enable full address search in future, Google Maps may set its own cookies when its map or autocomplete service loads. This feature is not currently active — our "Use my location" button uses your browser's own location feature and does not load Google Maps.

3.1 We will update this section, and add a consent mechanism, before switching on any feature that sets a non-essential cookie.

UK law (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations) requires your consent before a website sets a cookie that is not strictly necessary. Because this website does not currently set any such cookie, it does not currently ask for that consent. A banner will be added at the same time as, and not after, any feature that needs one.

You can control and delete cookies through your browser's own settings at any time, whether or not this website currently sets any. Most browsers let you see what cookies are stored and delete them individually or all at once, and let you block cookies from being set in future. Blocking all cookies may affect how some websites — though not, at present, this one — function.

We will update this policy whenever the cookies this website sets actually change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
